Implants
A dental implant can restore gaps in your natural smile or can be used to replace a denture. We have had great success with our implant cases, giving our patients a more confident healthy smile.
An implant is not a quick fix but a more permanent solution. You will be required to attend the surgery for 3-4 visits after your initial consultation, with these visits being spaced out over several months.
This patient had his old bridge damaged beyond repair. The roots were extracted and two implants placed. The new implant retained the bridge in place. The patient was delighted and no longer has to wear a denture
I had to wear an upper denture for years after I lost most of my front teeth in an accident. Over time I lost more teeth and the dentures became more and more unpleasant to wear. I contacted the surgery and spoke with Mr. Crutchley because I wanted to know if I was suitable for implants. He explained the whole procedure to me very clearly and put my mind at ease. I was amazed at how little discomfort I felt during the whole thing, and at the end of the treatment I was fitted with a fixed bridge which looks and feels like my original teeth. The difference for me in my confidence and comfort is worth every penny and I am delighted with my end result.
Implant-retained bridge
Three implants placed and a bridge. Slight blanching of the gum due to immediate slight pressure of the new work against the gum, much like when you push gently at a nail bed. It will return to pink in less than 24 hours.
